Valley Center/Pauma Music Boosters
Jazz Benefit Concert - 13th Annual

The Valley Center/Pauma Music Boosters proudly presents the 13th Annual Jazz Benefit Concert on Thursday, March 4th at 6pm at the Maxine Theater. The event will be held at the Maxine Theater, located at Valley Center High School, 31322 Cole Grade Road, Valley Center, CA. General seating is $10 and doors open at 5:00 p.m.. All proceeds go to the music programs at the Valley Center schools.

The 13th Annual Valley Center Jazz Benefit Concert features the The San Diego Jazz Orchestra. This incredible band brings together the top 18 jazz musiciansfrom San Diego to LA, many of who are music educators and teachers, including our own Jeff and Laralee Beck, and Christopher Hollyday.

Other All Stars include musicians Mark Lewis, Roger Wright, Bill Yeager, James Linahon, Steve Steinberg, Bruce Babad, and Dave Murray. Google any of these names and you will be overwhelmed by their expertise and musical experience. Not only are they accomplished recording artists, currently play with some of the area’s recognized orchestras and bands, but also have played with some of the biggest names in music like Aretha Franklin, Mel Torme, Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Tony Bennett, Barry Manilow and Dizzy Gillespie to name a select few. Valley Center’s student talent will be showcased at the beginning of the concert with the award winning Middle and High School Jazz Bands and High School Advanced and Jazz Choirs. This compilation of talent is sure to entertain all.

Patrons can come early to enjoy the piano stylings of Leonard Beck and purchase some dessert or finger foods. Concert tickets are free for Gold Level Booster members. All proceeds from the concert will go to the Valley Center/Pauma Music Boosters. The Music Boosters support the children and teachers involved in Orchestras, Choirs, and Bands at all of the Valley Center schools.
